Tea vs Coffee Melbourne’s Southbank Showdown!
We all know that Melbourne’s preferred hot caffeinated beverage is the much loved coffee, they never stop talking about it! And they have a right to be precious, its some of the best in Australia. It’s engrained into the European culture of the city with a choice of quirky cafes that would spoil the most conscientious connoisseur.
However, on the 29th of May the tables turn! The annual Tea festival will be hosted in the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre in all its glory. With more than 40 stalls sampling Teas of all kinds from across Australia and beyond there’s no better way to warm yourself up on an autumnal Sunday arvo.
Come out and show your appreciation for tea and join one of the workshops also offered on the day starting at $20 and ranging from from Discovering Tea Essentials to Tea Leaf Reading you’ll be the talk of the Tea party!
You will be issued a tasting cup so take full advantage and fill yourself to the brim on the finest brews around!…Just make sure you use the toilet before the tram ride home!
